Dra. Vitoria Nabas
Vitoria Nabas

As a distinguished and respected European lawyer in the UK, Vitoria Nabas has earned the trust of the Latin American community. The opening of her office, Nabas Legal, enabled Mrs. Nabas to offer high quality services, expertise, professionalism, integrity and confidentiality.

Mrs. Nabas completed her Law degree at the University of São Paulo, Largo São Francisco, in 1993. She furthered her academic qualifications with a MBA in Finance from the Brazilian Institute for Capital Markets, in 1996. She built on her experience in Brazil, with experience and further qualifications in the United States and in the United Kingdom.

Her professional experience spans several prominent legal firms and banks. In Brazil she worked at Machado, Meyer, Sendacz & Opice a Law Firm, Chemical Bank – now JP Morgan; Bozano Simonsen Bank – now Santander Bank and others. In 2000 she moved to New York City and worked for Brown & Wood –presently Sidley Austin LLP, and thereafter for Unibanco Securities Inc. This strengthened her links with Latin America and the contrasting legal systems currently in NL’s global network.

In 2002, Mrs. Nabas relocated to the United Kingdom. Working for the Latin American Association, a charity dedicated to protect the rights of the Latin community as a volunteer advisor, she provided legal advice on immigration to the Spanish and Portuguese speaking communities. Her work with these communities expanded her knowledge of immigration regulation and created the start of a relationship with the Latin American community in Great Britain and Europe.

Although managing a busy organization, Mrs. Nabas continues to expand her horizons by utilising her professional experience to teach students  at the European School of Economics at its London campus.
